MY STORY
I was born in 1988 in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, and I grew up between two cultures (Chinese and Dutch). From an early age, I was very curious about the world, a huge animal and nature lover and highly sensitive. I had to find my own way from a very young age. My childhood was challenging, but it shaped my resilience and my curiosity about life’s deeper meaning.
As a teenager, I began working and traveling independently. Without much support, I built my own path—learning by doing and exploring different experiences. Over the years, I tried many directions, from international modeling and sports science to working in healthcare, but nothing truly felt like home.
It was in the quiet moments—drawing, creating, and connecting with nature —that I returned to myself. In 2017, I finally decided to follow my heart and become a tattoo artist. I realized I never fit into traditional creative studies because I am an autodidact: someone who learns through practice, observation, and intuition.
Together with my husband, I founded Ink Panthers in 2018—our own tattoo studio in Echt, the Netherlands. Over time, my work grew into a blend of realism, color, and fusion styles that allow me to create tattoos carrying personal stories.
In 2025, Ink Panthers was handed over to a new owner, and I took a sabbatical to reflect and make space for new dreams. Though some plans paused, that time reminded me of what matters most: creating meaningful work with care and intention. Although we no longer run the studio ourselves, I am still working here as a tattoo artist with much pleasure.
My approach is thoughtful and intuitive, always aiming to create art that reflects something true for each person.
